The Southern California Chapter of the International Enneagram Association presents:

Instincts "It's a Jungle in Here!"

with Lynn Bruer and Kathryn Grant

Join in as Lynn and Kathryn take us on safari — a journey to recognize our instinctual energies and how they manifest themselves in our lives. These energies are so primal that we are unaware of how they push and pull us through our daily routines and decision-making processes.

This workshop will introduce the three instinctual energies that are available to us: self-preservation, sexual/attraction, and social. Instincts help us to survive. When aligned properly, they are a great source of strength and information. However, we habitually overuse one instinct – with resulting problems in our relationships. As we explore this "inner jungle," we develop awareness and practices to bring these valuable assets back into alignment – much to our benefit.

Once we identify our particular combination of instinctual energies, we can notice, breathe, and consciously choose more appropriate responses. Dig out your safari clothes and join in as we visit our inner-jungle and learn to put our primal energy to better use in our lives.
